Bump date: Week 29

Its time for another bump date and I am super excited about it. I'm sorry I missed a post last week  but I have been super sick the last few days & am just now getting back to the old routine. Here's what's new with the pregnancy lately.

How far along: 29 weeks! Wowza, welcome third trimester.

Due date: June 16th

How big is baby: 15.5 inches & 2.5lbs!

Belly button: We can basically say it's out now. lol, it is most of the time anyway.

Total weight gain: I will officially find out my current weight gain next Thursday, so we'll find out soon what kind of damage has been done.  ;)

Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty well. The whole time I was sick I had the entire bed to myself so I took full advantage of that. Now that I'm well again, Katie is trying to sneak back into our bed. We have officially bought her a toddler bed that I think is gorgeous! Now to get her to actually sleep in it for more than 5 hour stretches...

Maternity clothes: Still wearing maternity jeans and some tops but I desperately need to invest in another pair of jeans and maternity shorts! Fitting into my pre-pregnancy shorts is a joke.. and probably a really funny one too. lol

Movement: She continues to move all the time. I love it, but in all honesty it gets pretty uncomfortable at times. As of this week she has taken interest in kicking or punching me in the ribs basically all day. Fun times.

Cravings: Because of being sick, I haven't craved much of anything lately. My diet has consisted of snacking on whatever my body will allow me to, and Popsicles is one of those very few items. Cherry Popsicles for the win!

Symptoms/Labor signs: I have noticed lots of differences this week between my pregnancy with Katie and now with Ella. I don't remember feeling this big at 29 weeks when I was pregnant with Katie, nor did my belly button ever end up sticking out! I have more back pain this go around, leg cramps have started to kick in, and i just feel more tired in general. That can be attributed to having a toddler to chase around constantly this time though. ;) Thankfully I don't believe I have any new stretch marks yet which is always a positive. Sadly heartburn has kicked in this week BIG time and it's no laughing matter. It makes me miserable. I had it with Katie  during the third trimester and I remember hating it. This babe of mine better have a nice head of hair at the end of the journey. Fingers crossed. & No labor signs.

Gender: A pretty princess with a head full of dark brown hair ;)

Best moment this week: Entering the third trimester of my second pregnancy. It's kind of surreal.

Looking forward to: Enjoying the warm weather while it's sticking around & going to the doctors next week. Also some pretty fun baby shower ideas are being planned and that makes me happy. I'm so excited for you baby Ella.
