Here

I sit and stare at this blank page, waiting for my daughter to awake from her nap at any given moment and I am simply just here. I haven't been on my blog in nearly a year and it sort of breaks my heart. It was a new journey I was trying to start and I suppose it just didn't stick with me at the time. So many things have taken course over the past several months and I wont even dare to try and recall all of the memories for blog posts. Instead, I want to just start a new chapter. Ultimately this blog is for me and my memories. A place where I can write and look back to enjoy. I will set no goals to how many posts I desire to put out weekly or even monthly, I will see what happens. As for now I am simply here, and maybe, just maybe you will stay here with me too.
So, lets jump straight into it with some very exciting news. We are expecting our second daughter and couldn't be more excited!
Lets get into a Baby bump date!
How far along: 27 weeks! Next week, Hello third trimester!

Due date: June 16th 2015

How big is baby: A crazy 15 inches! She seriously feels huge though. lol

Belly button: It is basically out. ;) I don't remember my belly being this big at this point with Katie. My belly button is basically flush with my skin and when I try to get out of bed it sticks out. lol

Total weight gain: I will find out for sure at the next doctors appointment on April 9th but so far its around 20 or so pounds, so not to shabby.

Sleep: I could seriously be sleeping almost perfectly if it wasn't for the fact that my almost 2 and half year old is still sleeping in our bed most nights. We're working on the whole toddler bed idea but she isn't exactly getting the hang of it. Yet, that is. But seriously kid.. somethings gotta give because there is no way we can share a queen size bed with 4 people once sissy joins the crowd.

Maternity clothes: No joke I bought my first pair of maternity jeans when I was maybe only 12 weeks along. They are so stinking comfy and they are the only things that fit me. ;) I am wearing a mixture of maternity and non maternity tops still and I am super excited that the weather is finally warming up for dresses and cute maxi skirts!

Movement: Tons of it! She likes to roll around a lot and still throw in some big jabs here and there too.

Cravings: Anything really, haha. I have sort of done differently this pregnancy then I did with Katie. When I was pregnant with her I cut caffeine as soon as I discovered I was pregnant basically. I rarely ate chocolate or anything that wasn't really "healthy". This go around, I want to enjoy being pregnant just a little bit more when it comes to cravings. I want to live a little! lol. So, I will sadly or proudly admit that yes, I drink coke still and eat chocolate. All in moderation of course... well sometimes. lol But all in all I am staying healthy and my doctor thinks I'm doing great. What else can a mama ask for right?

Symptoms/Labor signs: No labor signs. The whole right side of my back has been achy since around week 15 and it mainly strikes at night time. It seriously has knocked me off my feet a few times. I also feel like one of my main pregnancy symptoms is a puffy face once i get mid way through the 2nd trimester. It happened last time and it is back to haunt me again dear friends.

Gender: A sweet little girl

Best moment this week: I feel like the best moments of the week are always on Tuesday when I become another week further along in this journey.

Looking forward to: The husband is on Spring break this next week so lots of fun shall be had. After that we get to celebrate Easter! Hurray!

This was my first time filling out a Bump date and it was so fun! Now I have more excitement to add to every weeks progression for the rest of this pregnancy. Now that you all know we are expecting another princess, its time to share her name with you.
This summer we will be welcoming
Ella Alana Boyer

to our family and we couldn't be more blessed and thrilled.
More details to come about her name and how we chose it.
Bye Y'all.
